The 2015/16 Budget delivers on the NSW Liberals Government continued commitment to deliver infrastructure projects and services for the people of Riverstone.

Mr Conolly said "This Budget delivers on our election commitments. The Baird government is delivering exactly what it promised, and making the funds available to turn the promises into reality."
Included in the state budget are:

  • $27 million for the remaining works in Stage 1 of the Blacktown / Mount Druitt
  • Hospitals Redevelopment; to be followed by the $400 commitment to Stage 2.
  • $32 million to continue Schofield Road Stage 2, between Tallawong Road to Veron Road and $12,million to begin Stage 3, connecting to Richmond Road.
  • Completion of the new Riverstone Police Station $12 million
  • $820,000 to extend the right turn bay at Norwest Boulevard into Greenhill Drive Glenwood
  • $30 million to continue construction of the upgrade of Richmond Road between Townson Road and north of Garfield Road.
  • $500,000 to start planning for the future Bandon Road link between Windsor Road and Richmond Road.
  • Restoration and maintenance of Historic Rouse Hill House
  • Parklea Correctional Centre expansion
  • Social Housing upgrade $433,000
  • Sydney Water major works to facilitate land release $18 million
  • Funding for Community transport providers more than $5 million

"These allocations have been made possible by the budget discipline exercised by the NSW Liberal government over the previous 4 years.

"The reward for this hard work is the extra capacity to provide infrastructure and services to the people of NSW.

"Now that the leasing of the 'poles and wires' has been approved by parliament, even more benefits for the people will be possible in coming years," said Mr Conolly.
