Member for Riverstone, Kevin Conolly has announced that ten sports organisations in the Riverstone electorate have shared $40,665 in the latest NSW Government round of sports grants which form part of the state's $4.6 million of sports grants to purchase equipment, improve facilities and increase participation opportunities for the local community.
Congratulations to the following organisations:
Quakers Hill Netball Club $6,000
"At a time when all volunteer organisations are doing it tough, these funds can help to lift spirits and give clubs a boost to get them through this challenging time.
"Sport is a vital part of the fabric of our local community, and these grants will provide essential funds to help our organisations increase participation as we slowly ease restrictions and will benefit our community in the long run," said Mr Conolly.
