Member for Riverstone Kevin Conolly is pleased to announce that nearly 30% of eligible motor vehicle owners across the Riverstone electorate have claimed their CTP Green Slip refund.

The NSW Government last year overhauled the CTP Green Slip Scheme to create a more affordable, lower cost scheme. In addition to lower premiums in 2018, the Government is providing partial refunds to the owners of vehicles across the state with insurance premiums calculated based on the cost of the old scheme.

"The new CTP scheme is delivering significant savings for motorists so check to see if you are one of those who are eligible for a refund. As of last week, there's still 29,622 owners in the Riverstone electorate yet to claim the money owed to them," said Mr Conolly.

Refunds are available to be claimed online at during the evening from 7pm until 7am from Monday to Saturday and all day Sunday.

Eligible motor vehicle owners have until 30 September to claim their refund.

Minister for Finance, Services and Property Victor Dominello said that, as a result of the Government's reforms, over $2.4 million will be returned to vehicle owners across the Riverstone electorate.

"The new CTP scheme is delivering a big win for motorists through lower premiums, greater protections for those injured on the road and refunds on premiums paid during 2017," Mr Dominello said.

This program is one of a raft of NSW Government measures helping to ease cost of living pressures for households. The Government has also introduced free car registration for regular toll users, cheaper hospital car parking, and the FuelCheck app.
