State Member for Riverstone, Kevin Conolly MP is inviting you to have your say by Friday, 15 April on the proposed night work schedule for the project to extend the right turn bays on Norwest Boulevard between Greenhill Drive and Old Windsor Road at Glenwood.

To minimise the impact on road users, work could be carried out at night from 8pm to 5am and be completed in 12 weeks working five nights a week or work could be carried out across 30 weeks working up to two nights per week. Noisier work would be completed before 11pm to reduce the impact on residences and businesses."

This $820,000 work project would reduce queuing and wait times, reduce congestion and increase traffic flow efficiency on Norwest Boulevard at the intersections of Old Windsor Road and Greenhill Drive.

Feedback on the preferred work schedule option can be sent to delivery partner DownerMouchel at PO Box 6465 North Ryde, NSW, 2113 or enquiries_nsw@downermouchel.com.

"The project will go ahead as planned and community members are invited to have a say on the work schedule" said Mr Conolly.

All feedback will be considered and work is expected to start mid this year, weather permitting.

Mr Conolly said the NSW Government would fund the work through the $246 million Pinch Point Program which aims to reduce traffic congestion and improve travel times on Sydney's roads particularly during peak periods.

"The NSW Government is committed to reducing traffic congestion in the area while longer term solutions such as the Sydney Metro Northwest rail line are built" said Mr Conolly.
