The NSW Government has reaffirmed its commitment to the residents of North-West Sydney with funding for the site of Rouse Hill Hospital confirmed in this week's budget.

Member for Riverstone, Kevin Conolly joined Minister for Health Brad Hazzard to confirm that the process of transferring the Sydney Metro owned land at 768 Windsor Road Rouse Hill, is in its final stages.

"As the local MP I am so pleased the NSW Government has continued to progress its commitment to deliver a new hospital in Rouse Hill for our growing community," Mr Conolly said.

"Labor's hysterical claims today show they do not know realise just how many hospital projects are in the pipeline in NSW. The list of 29 further hospital projects to which they have referred is nowhere near the full extent of the $10.1 billion health capital investment strategy to which this Government has committed.

Rouse Hill was in the pipeline before these projects. There is an allocation of $56 million in the budget for land acquisition in the current financial year. The balance of the $300 million set aside from the "poles and wires" remains to fund construction of Stage 1 later during this term of Government once the planning phase is completed.

"In 2015 Labor didn't commit a single cent towards a Rouse Hill Hospital.

"Only after the Liberal Government committed to the project did Labor discover a need for a hospital in Sydney's north west," Mr Conolly said.

"As part of the due diligence, and to inform the masterplanning and design, Health Infrastructure will continue to work with community and Council to ensure we deliver what the community needs," Mr Hazzard said.

The new Rouse Hill Hospital will be linked to Blacktown/Mt Druitt and Westmead hospitals to ensure comprehensive health care throughout the North West.

The new Rouse Hill Hospital will complement the $10.1 billion over four years to invest in NSW's health infrastructure to continue current projects and to commence upgrading and building a further 29 hospital and health facility projects.

Other health projects in Western Sydney include:
Westmead and The Children's Hospital, Westmead: $1 billion
Blacktown and Mount Druitt hospitals: more than $700 million
Bankstown Hospital upgrade $1.3 billion
Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct: $740 million
