KELLYVILLE RIDGE PUBLIC SCHOOL GETS NEW PLAYGROUND FACILITY
Written on the 13 November 2019 by Kevin Conolly
Work has just finished on replacing the old outdoor playground area at Kellyville Ridge Public School with a new and larger state-of-the-art playground facility for students to enjoy during their recreation time. The school's P&C applied to the State Liberal Government using the 2018 Community Building Partnership Program last year and with local MP Kevin Conolly's support the school received a grant of $80,000 to build the facility.
Member for Riverstone, Kevin Conolly was invited by the school principal Rhonda Gosman and P&C representative Michelle Gigliotti to formally open the new playground, and the students entered in droves to enjoy themselves.
"I congratulate the Kellyville Ridge Public School P&C for being successful in their application and I am pleased this funding will help to entertain the school students in a safe and quality environment during their assigned recreation times while at school," said Mr Conolly.
This year's 2019 Community Building Partnership program has closed for applications and successful applicants will be notified in the coming weeks.
