
NEW BUS ROUTE FROM ROUSE HILL TO CITY COMMENCESWritten on the 30th of April 2012 Kevin Conolly MP, Member for Riverstone and David Elliott MP, Member for Baulkham Hills, today welcomed the commencement of a new express weekly bus service from Rouse Hill to the City. "Transport is critical for residents living in the North West and a number of residents have highlighted with me the need for additional bus services to keep up with housing development," Mr Conolly said. "The NSW Government is listening to the concerns of residents in the North West and is delivering services to address their transport needs," Mr Elliott said. The new bus service, Route 607X, will see an additional seven buses operating from Rouse Hill Town Centre, along the North West T-Way and then the M2 into the City. "These new buses are critical in addressing the rapid growth in our area and ensuring that locals have access to sufficient transport services," Mr Conolly said. Mr Elliott welcomed the commencement of the route and said it would be of great benefit to residents in the Baulkham Hills electorate. The commencement of Route 607X is part of a roll-out of additional transport services for the North West area. This roll-out includes an additional bus for Route T63 from Kellyville Ridge to Parramatta, the commencement of Route 602, an express service from Rouse Hill to North Sydney and the upcoming delivery of additional buses for Route 616X, in response to local concerns. |
