Kevin Conolly MP, Member for Riverstone and Mark Taylor MP, Member for Seven Hills today welcomed nine officers to the local area as part of 109 new recruits joining the NSW Police Force.
"These officers join almost 3,000 officers who have passed through the academy since 2011," Mr Conolly said.
"The new recruits have worked extremely hard over the past few months and on Monday they begin their new life policing the Blacktown Local Government area.
The nine new officers will be based at the following Local Area Commands:
Blacktown LAC 4 new officers
Quakers Hill LAC 1 new officer
Mount Druitt LAC 4 new officers
"I thank the new officers who are taking on this challenging and rewarding role and for their commitment to service and I look forward to seeing them continuing the fantastic work of our Local Area Commands"
"The Liberal Government has delivered record high police numbers to keep our community safe with authorised strength at 16,565.
