NSW GOVERNMENT GRANT HELPS LOCAL RSL SUB-BRANCH

Member for Riverstone Kevin Conolly MP visited the Riverstone Schofields RSL Sub-Branch premises on Market Street Riverstone to view the completion of a roof-top mounted solar panel installation that will save the sub-branch significantly in their future energy bills, which a grant of $17,800 from last year's NSW Government Community Building Partnership program helped to deliver.

"I congratulate the Riverstone Schofields RSL Sub Branch for being successful in their application and I am pleased this funding will help to minimise a major operating cost and ensure that the club house remains open to support local veterans into the future," said Mr Conolly.

This year's Community Building Partnership program has closed for applications and successful applicants will be notified in the coming weeks.

Further details of the program and all successful grants funded for the 2017 program can be found at www.communitybuildingpartnership.nsw.gov.au under the 'successful grants' tab.
