The NSW Government is supporting the NSW Open through its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW."What better place to play this unique tournament than the Stonecutters Ridge Golf Club in Colebee," Mr Conolly said.
"Support from the NSW Government will allow this exciting event event to expand into Asia, through partnerships with Chinese golf associations and tournaments throughout the region.""This event is expected to contribute nearly $1.4 million in visitor expenditure just in 2015," Mr Conolly said.
Chairman Golf NSW Chris Allen said: "The NSW Golf Open has a rich heritage having first been played in 1931 with names like Greg Norman, Peter Thomson, Ian Baker-Finch, Jack Newton and Kel Nagle etched into the history books as past champions.""Together with defending champion Anthony Brown and Australian triple crown winner Peter Lonard, the event promises to be one of the best for many years.
