RENOVATION RULES TO BE OVERHAULED
Written on the 7 July 2015 by Kevin ConollyKevin Conolly MP, Member for Riverstone today welcomed the NSW Government's announcement that rules for building and renovating homes would be re-written to make them more user-friendly.
The announcement comes as an online video was released to encourage discussion between neighbours before they renovate their homes.
"Today's announcement is a step in the right direction to rewrite our renovation rules and make sure neighbours keep each other in the loop before work begins.Proposed changes to the Housing Code will be exhibited for public feedback later in the year.
