Mr Conolly said the grants would assist local sporting organisations as COVID-19 restrictions slowly ease.

“At a time when all volunteer organisations are doing it tough, these funds can help to lift spirits and give clubs a boost to get them through this challenging time.

“Sport is a vital part of the fabric of our local community, and these grants will provide essential funds to help our organisations increase participation as we slowly ease restrictions and will benefit our community in the long run,” said Mr Conolly.
