The community is being encouraged to have their say on the proposed new Denmark Link Road between Riverstone and Schofields with the Review of Environmental Factors now on display.

Kevin Conolly Member for Riverstone said Denmark Link Road is a proposed new local road linking Garfield Road West at Riverstone and the Westminster Street Bridge at Schofields in Sydney’s North West Growth Area.

“The proposed new road would provide an alternative route for light vehicles crossing at the Garfield Road railway crossing at Riverstone, reducing congestion and improving travel time,” Mr Conolly said.

“The proposed Denmark Link Road is part of Transport for NSW’s North West Growth Centre Road Network Strategy, which was developed to support the predicted growth in housing and employment the area.

“Once fully developed, the North West Growth Area will be home to around 250,000 people, ultimately increasing traffic and the demand on the road network.”

The opportunity for feedback by the community on the Review of Environmental Factors for Denmark Link Road will end on close of business on Monday 14 December. Feedback can be provided via phone 1300 367 561, email  [email protected] or mail Denmark Link Road, Transport for NSW, PO Box 973 Parramatta NSW 2124.

All feedback will be taken into consideration and the community will be updated as the project progresses.
